I coach because...
I’ve always been involved with basketball and the one year I took off I felt lost without it.
What I expected coaching basketball to be:
Easy, working with the players…like it was when I was a player. I didn’t see all of the other behind the scenes stuff when I played.
What it really is:
Recruiting, paperwork…a lot different than I expected.
Advice I would give to an aspiring basketball coach:
Be ready to give your whole life to the sport.
