I coach because...
I love the game! Basketball has taught me many valuable lessons in life and coaching is a way for me to give back to the sport I love.

What I expected coaching basketball to be:
Practice, drills and games – X’s and O’s.

What it really is:
It really is about getting the players to grow as people and players! Taking a kid that isn’t very good her freshman year and making that player better. It is about goal setting and accomplishing those goals.

Advice I would give to an aspiring basketball coach:
Work hard and never stop learning from other coaches and players.

Why I love basketball:
Basketball can take you so many places. I have traveled around the world and the United States all because of basketball. It teaches you to set goals and work with other individuals to achieve them.

The women’s player that’s most fun to watch right now is...
Candace Parker

The relationship between coaches and officials can often be best described as “love/hate”, how would you describe yours.
I get along with most officials.

I'd go crazy on a road trip without...
Working out at a gym.

A player (past or present) that I’ve been the most inspired by is (and why)...
Diana Taurasi. She is amazing on the court. She is a team player and she makes everyone around her better.

Three things I'd like to do before I die...
1. Be a head coach
2. Travel around the world
3. Watch the Olympics live and in-person

Working as part of a team with the other coaches allows me to...
Feel a part of something special. The staff chemistry is just as important as the players. We are all working towards winning an A-10 Championship. They are my extended family. I never want to let them down.

The unsung hero of our team’s staff is...
Linda Waltz our secretary. She does all the little things for our office. You can always count on her. She brings a smile to all our faces.
