What playing college basketball means to me:
Playing college basketball means a lot to me. Basketball has been apart of my life for over 10 years and to try to imagine my life without playing is very difficult.

What I expected college basketball to be:
I expected it to be a challenge and a change in pace. It’s the next level and so you have to step your game up in order to compete with the best.

What it really is:
It is definitely a challenge and a lot to deal with. It is your life. You have to plan everything else in your life around basketball and class, and therefore you miss out on a lot of what regular college students get to experience. But it’s the price I’m willing to pay in order to play basketball.

Advice I would give to someone wanting to play basketball in college:
Ask yourself if you’re really willing to commit yourself fully to it. If you can’t say yes confidently, than college basketball is not for you.

Why I love playing basketball:
The competition. The relationships you build with your teammates. They become your friends for life. The adrenaline rush when you’re in the games. The sense of accomplishment you experience when you finish your 6am workout while the rest of your campus is sleeping and also the satisfaction you experience when you win a big game and know all your hard work is finally paying off.

The women’s player that’s most fun to watch right now is...
Deanna Nolan

Having the opportunity to play professional basketball after college...
Is nice to have as an option, but not something I see myself pursuing.

I'd go crazy on a road trip without...
My cell phone, and at a close second my iPod.

A teammate (past or present) that I’ve been the most inspired by is (and why)...
Theresa McCabe. She is an amazing shooter and though she didn’t play much last year, she didn’t let that stop her from pushing those that played in practice to work their hardest so they and the team could have a chance to succeed.

Three things I'd like to do before I die...
Is to be happy. There aren’t three things specifically that if I did I would be able to die happily tomorrow. I just want to find what makes me happy and do it.

Why academics are important to me...
Because once I graduate college, I’ll need my academics to carry me into the next chapter of my life.

An aspect of my game that I'd really like to improve is...
On-the-ball defense, decision-making, and leadership.
