What playing college basketball means to me:
Playing college basketball means the world to me. I put it before everything. Basketball is my life. Playing college basketball gives me the opportunity to put my school (UD) on the map. I want to prove everybody wrong, and I plan on doing so.
What I expected college basketball to be:
College basketball is everything that I expected it to be. I expected it to be on a completely different level, and it is. Everybody is competitive and wants the same goal. In high school there are at least one or two players that are good, but at the collegiate level everyone is a threat.
What it really is:
It is exactly how I explained it in the above response. I do not think I imagined it to be as competitive but it really is.
Advice I would give to someone wanting to play basketball in college:
I would tell the person to work hard because there is always someone working harder than you.
Why I love playing basketball:
I love playing basketball because I want to be the best. I am never satisfied with anything. There is always room for improvement. Playing basketball is like putting on a performance in front of millions. I love impressing the crowd. Playing ball allows me to showcase all my talents and that is what I love the most.

Myself. I love watching myself play, and I’m the most fun to watch too.
Having the opportunity to play professional basketball after college...
I would love to play after college. It has always been a dream and I would love for it to come true.
I'd go crazy on a road trip without...
I would go crazy if I didn’t have my best friend, my cell phone. I love my phone. It has so many capabilities and I would be heartbroken if I forgot it at home. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
A teammate (past or present) that I’ve been the most inspired by is (and why)...
I pick my teammates (2006-2007 UD squad). I choose my teammates because they are the ones that have worked so hard to get better. As a team we sacrifice for each other to be better for one another. This is the only team that I have played for at UD that has sacrificed for each other. So if anybody, they inspire me.
Three things I'd like to do before I die...
Before I die I would like to play professional basketball, I would like to go swimming with the dolphins, and I want to go sky diving.
Why academics are important to me...
Academics are important to me because like I have dreams of playing professional ball, I have dreams of being this “big time” engineer. Therefore, academics are important just as much as ball.
An aspect of my game that I'd really like to improve is...
My mental game. Sometimes I let my mental game get the best of me because I play with so many emotions. So if I could improve that one part of my game I think my entire game would improve as well.
