What playing college basketball means to me:
Playing basketball means so much to me. I never would have thought that basketball could bring me as far as I am in life.
What I expected college basketball to be:
I expected college to be exactly how it is. I knew that the academics and playing basketball was going to be such a higher level then in high school. That is was when playing and studying as hard as you can in high school can help you transition into college so much easier.
What it really is:
College basketball is exactly what I expected plus dedication and being able to perform when needed.
Advice I would give to someone wanting to play basketball in college:
“Work as hard as you can and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something”
Why I love playing basketball:
I love playing basketball because it challenges you mentally and physically to perform to the best of your ability.
