What playing college basketball means to me:
College basketball serves as an opportunity to play the sport that I love so much, as well as help me become more of a well rounded person. It helps build confidence and character.
What I expected college basketball to be:
I expected college basketball to be very time consuming, required large amounts of dedication, and an opportunity to grow as a person and make life long friends.
What it really is:
It was pretty much what I expected, but it was also a slightly difficult transition from high school.
Advice I would give to someone wanting to play basketball in college:
Learn to manage your time appropriately early on.
