What playing college basketball means to me:
Playing basketball in college is a great experience. I feel that I am very lucky to have this opportunity. In addition, to being able to play, I am getting a great education and meeting some of my best friends that I will ever have. Playing basketball in college has also made me more responsible which will also help prepare me for the work world after college.
What I expected college basketball to be:
I expected college basketball to be challenging but at the same time one of the best experiences of my life.
What it really is:
College basketball is what I expected, however, it is a lot harder, Both basketball and school are more difficult. It requires a great deal of discipline.
Advice I would give to someone wanting to play basketball in college:
Work as hard as you possibly can because though you might be the best player in your conference, on your team, etc.there is always someone out there working harder than you.
Why I love playing basketball:
I love playing basketball because it is kind of like an escape. It gives me a break from the stress of school or life in general. It is fun playing on a team, you feel like you are a part of something special.

A teammate (past or present) that I’ve been the most inspired by is (and why)...
Brittany Holterman because she is very disciplined and tough.
Three things I'd like to do before I die...
Make it to the NCAA tournament, get married and have a family, live somewhere warm.
Why academics are important to me...
Academics are very important to me because once I stop playing basketball I will have a great college degree that will hopefully help me to earn a good career.
An aspect of my game that I'd really like to improve is...
My aggressiveness.
